802 Campbell Ave.
802 Campbell Avenue is a historic house located in the heart of Hamilton, Ohio. This beautiful house sits along the Campbell Avenue Park and has a rich history that dates back to the late 1800s. Built around 1880, the house was once home to the Redlin family, who moved in in 1915. Paul W. Redlin, the President of the Elite Bakery on High Street, and his family lived in the house for many years, and members of the Redlin family remained in the house until 1985. Ruth Redlin, a teacher in the Hamilton School District was the last family member to live in the house.
In 2016, the property was purchased by Brian Lenihan, who restored the house as an owner-occupied single-family residence. The house now blends old and new, with the original floors and windows on the second floor, and new windows and new hardwood floors on the first. The owners have also incorporated stained glass pieces they have found, adding a unique touch to the already beautiful home. The slate roof is still in tack. Today, 802 Campbell Avenue stands as a testament to the rich history of Hamilton, Ohio, and is a beautiful example of the blending of old and new.
